We were beginning to think that Halo 2 would be the most played game on Xbox Live until Halo 3 launches sometime next year.
Having an Xbox as still the most played Live game a year after the 360 launch was beginning to say something about 360ļās portfolio. Were 360 gamers unwilling to give anything else a try or is there nothing as good as Halo 2 online?
Xbox Live insider Major Nelson says in his latest update, "If the Xbox 360 list and the original Xbox list were combined, then Gears of War would be the top Xbox Live title. To put it another way: Gears of War is now the top game on Xbox Live."
