1-Doesn't come with a USB cable. I used the one that came with PS3 (http://www.pslinux.org/).
2-PS3 (http://www.pslinux.org/) only allows to copy the entire contents of the card to the HDD, as a virtual card.
3-IT IS ONLY A READER. I tried copying back to the card, but no luck.
4-Completly transparent. PS3 (http://www.pslinux.org/) recognized it immediately and it will be an option in the "memory card utility" part of the menu.
5-Manual warns of copy protected saves. I guess Resident Evil saves won't transfer as they didn't transfer from the card to HDD in PS2. Haven't
