Criterion Games, developer of the excellent Burnout series and 2010's equally brilliant Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit, seems to be gearing up to work on a PS Vita (http://www.computerandvideogames.com/331102/ps-vita-review-everything-you-need-to-know-about-ps-vita/) game.

EA has confirmed it will be releasing a new Need for Speed this year (http://www.computerandvideogames.com/346681/new-need-for-speed-this-year/). Rumours suggest it might be a Criterion-developed Need for Speed: Most Wanted 2 (http://www.computerandvideogames.com/344229/need-for-speed-most-wanted-2-listed-by-retailer/).
The Guilford based studio has teased (http://www.computerandvideogames.com/333088/criterion-teases-big-announcement/) "lots to share over the coming months" and some "big" announcements in the pipeline.
