Lot's of threads on other chat boards about whether people will or will not buy the UMD movie disks.

Would you, or would you just burn onto a memory stick?

I would probably buy a few if they were ones I really wanted but I would just convert most of my films to PSP format and stick on the memory stick.

personally i can't see UMD movies working out unless something other than the psp can use it or the psp becomes the biggest selling thing of all time!

me 2, at the end of the day, who wants to watch it on a tiny little screen? Suppose its good if you are going on a long journey, but as long as the movies are cheap, i.e under a tenner!

It would be great if they produced a burner for UMD discs!

No! Invest in a 1GB memory stick duo and then convert my DVD's and put it on there. Why spend money on UMD movies?

I want Final Fantasy Advent Children very much.
But I want it on DVD.
Then I would rip it and encode it to MP4 and also be able to watch it on my PSP.

I think The idea of UMD movies is great for trips where you'll be driving or flying for hours or days. I want the 2G Memory Sticks. I've seen them, but they still cost too much.

Not a chance, sony say that UMD's will replace DVD's, personally i cant see UMD players lifting off as DVD hasnt been around that long. As most will do i'd invest in a 1GB mem. duo and put them on that.
