View Full Version : Wii Remote Straps Already Fixed?

Senor Iwata, hold off on the Wii Remote strap inquisition. It might not be necessary.

The Australian market (and I'm presuming the European one as well) is already receiving Wii Remotes with "next-gen" straps.

Those included within the Wii console itself are still the wispy, accident-prone type that first shipped in the US and Japan. But the strap in my Wii Play bundle? It's noticeably thicker.

Have any of you actually considered making your own? And sending photos of it.

I make better beer than what you get in supermarkets, surely it`s the same principle...

The strap string on my uk wii is thicker than the one that came with wiiplay.

The strap on the controller that came with my UK Wii is thinner than the strap that came with my copy of Wii Play.
