Halo 3 Rumor: Butes playeble, 7 minute video 20/12

On December 20 a new Halo 3 video will be available on marketplace. It’s a 7 minute video that will be released next week. It highlights the emergence of the Brutes as playable characters in the game. It touches on their skills, origins, and how they are being created. It has about 2 ½ minutes of gameplay footage.

At this stage this is the only source for this news, and I can't help smell a little BS. The game is not coming out for another 11 months and they have already did to promotional stuff for halo 3 this month.

Only 6 days till we find out I guess...

This has been officially debunked by Bungie. Yes there is a video coming next week with some juicy campaign reveals, however Brutes are not playable. (Also think about it logically from the plot arc).
Brutes will be the main enemies having usurped the Elites in the Covenant hierarchy, so you will spend a lot of the game thinning out their population.

Thats what Gamestops everywhere are saying. They even put reservations out for it.
