Art (http://xflash.pspstuff.de/forum/viewtopic.php?t=4) has posted a new release of his Firmware modification app for the PSP, heres whats new:


- Added some sound enhancements,
and some new higher quality sound effects.
- A warning screen displayed for incorrect registry version,
X-Flash program no longer terminates for this reason.

Wikll this work on 2.80fw psps? how much memorie is required and is there a good chance of bricking? if so wat is your estimated chance of a brick?

No it will not, unless it's ported to TIFF, which would be practically useless, because most features in the app, would brick the PSP.

Even if it was ported to TIFF, there's no kernel access so you couldn't use the features anyway.

Well, you can write to Flash0, but still, it's useless.

You're best bet, is to wait for an exploit in 3.0(X).

It wouldn't need to be ported to TIFF anyway, as the eLoader can load Eboots?

Anyway, thanks for keeping this great app updated, Art. Why didn't you post the news yourself, by the way?
