Grand Theft Auto V will be released in October, if information from a lead artist working on the game is correct.

The conclusion arrived at by the internet, of course, is that Rockstar stepped in in a damage limitation move.
Analysts recently pointed out that Take-Two’s financial predictions for the current fiscal year would not add-up without the release of GTA V before the end of March 2013 (http://www.mcvuk.com/news/read/take-two-guidance-points-to-gta-v-in-early-2013/096595), though a Q1 release next year was predicted.
