Sony has announced at E3 2012 (http://www.edge-online.com/filter/all/tags/1380) that a DLC update will enable PS3 players of LittleBigPlanet 2 to control the game using a PS Vita.
Announced on stage moments ago by SCEA president Jack Tretton, the 'cross-controller' DLC will let players use the Vita's front and rear touch capabilities on their PS3 in singleplayer, and enable simultaneous multiplayer on PS3 and Vita. It will also add a new story mode, costumes, stickers and decorations.
Sony also confirmed that SuperBot's Smash Bros-style fighting game, PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale, will also be released for Vita, and will support cross-platform multiplayer with the PS3 version.
