Hey all,

http://ngc.scorpei.com/guides/SD_adapter/images/finished(small).jpg

I've just released my howto about how to make your own Nintendo GameCube SD adapter. Read it here;
http://ngc.scorpei.com/GUIDE-SD_adapter.html
Remember that currently Nintendo GameCube homebrew also works on the new Nintendo Wii (via the AR method), and that this is the only way to boot it :D (AR)! Hope you all like it!

Yours,
Scor

p.s. If anything is wrong please let me (http://blog.scorpei.com/) know ;).

It's a trustmaster one, but really any memory card will do. Personally I wanted one that could house the entire SD socket and this one (which I had lying around) was just perfect for it. It shouldn't have been any smaller, nor any bigger (now the SD card is only a few milimeters from the gamecube/wii).

Great tutorial. There was one on how to integrate a card reader into the front of a GC and uses a switch to change between memory cards and the card reader, wonder if anyone is willing to hack their Wii's apart to do it?

I know this is old, but was just wondering. This also supports only up to 2GB as happens with the commercial SD Gecko? Or can support bigger SD cards?
