Is it just me, or does playing all my old games that were pre- analog stick (i.e. needed nice diagonal controls on the d-pad) show just how SHITE the d-pad is on the psp?

I hope that made sense

It makes sense and i agree i find it hard to play the PS1 games on my PSP without changing it to work with analog

yeah I used to have that problem with normal psp games
but I got a few cheap and nasty mods off ebay
thick little plastic stickers that go under all the buttons and d-pad making them ALOT more responsive
also got a bigger analogue nub which helps and a joypad grip attachment

you know you can switch the controls to analogue in the home menu? its config 4

Did you have to open up your psp to install those? I'm not too keen to do that, but I like the idea of a better d-pad.

Ridge Racer original is almost unplayable with the PSP D-pad, its shockingly bad, didnt realise how bad until I played that.
