Finnish owner threw the device to the ground in apparent fear of flaming buttocks.
17-year-old Henri Helminen was caught on CCTV throwing his iPhone to the floor, 9To5Mac (http://9to5mac.com/2012/07/02/finnish-90-day-old-iphone-combusts-into-smoke-cloud-on-cctv/) reports, as the device appeared to ignite in his pocket.
The feeling is that the scenario could have been staged, given that it took place on Nokia's Finnish soil.
However, an iPhone threw a similar hissy fit last year (http://www.mobile-ent.biz/news/read/iphone-explodes-on-flight-down-under/016336), when the device starting glowing red and producing thick smoke.
Meanwhile, a Galaxy S III recently exploded (http://www.mobile-ent.biz/news/read/in-photos-samsung-galaxy-s-iii-explodes-in-user-s-car/018400) in the user's car while charging, producing white flames.
