Traveller's Tales' Lego Batman 2: DC Super Heroes stays perched atop the UK all-formats chart for the third consecutive week.
London 2012 enjoys an 81 per cent boost in sales, leaping from last week's number four to this week's two, while The Amazing Spider-Man loses its grip on that spot and falls one place to three.
Spec Ops: The Line loses a little ground, also dropping one place to four, while Dead Island makes its return in the form of a Game Of The Year Edition, entering the charts at number five and becoming this week's highest new entry. After LA Noire (http://www.edge-online.com/reviews/la-noire-review), Dead Island was last year's second biggest new IP.
Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, meanwhile, lurches 26 places up the chart to number 8, meaning it has now spent 30 of the 35 weeks since it launched in the top ten.
Other new entries this week include Square Enix's Theatrhythm: Final Fantasy at number 19 and Electronic Art's long awaited MMOG The Secret World (http://www.edge-online.com/filter/all/tags/3196) which only just made the top 40 at 38. While an MMOG is a long-term prospect, it's worth noting that Bioware's The Old Republic (http://www.edge-online.com/reviews/star-wars-old-republic-review) debuted at number 10 in its first week of release back in December, so EA will likely be disappointed by the muted reception.
