I often find myself looking for different Popstation threads and finally figured that someone should organize them. So why not me? Anyways, I hope this helps, gets stickied, and gets updated.

That is what I was wondering and I was going to search one of these threads but lemme just finish adding therest of the threads first.
Edit: From the DCEmu official guide - how to install 3.02 OE-A, then to OE-B, to run PSOne Games:
Q Are multi-disc games playable?
A They should be, yeah. Games like Final Fantasy offer you the ability to save before the disc changes, so simply Save, exit, delete the EBOOT of the disc you're using and then copy the new one over, voila!
Hope that helps.

May I say that I think people got a little carried away making these popstation converters?

Popstation is the program that converts PSX games into EBOOTS so you can play them on your PSP.

i think people went insanely overboard in their GUI creations.
popstation.exe will be updated at some point, no doubt. This will make 99% of the "functions" offered by the ones with insane amounts of stuff useless.
It's why I made sure mine took an ISO, converted it, the end.
changing the slus was needed for saving... fetching the eboot was required because of all the crap "releases" on the net.
I wasn't going into PNG selecting/editing or custom compiling with custom base.pbp files and shit like that.
no offense to the people who put days upon days into their frontends, but seriously... imagine popstation.exe gets updated itself to include command line options for ICON0.PNGs and whatnot.
hours of their work will be for nothing.
mine's a frontend. nothing more.
and i've had several drinks in a pre-new years sampling. so rant over.

ive also learnt that you cant play psxgames on your psp if you have modded it with bootsound gameboot and font. i know this be cause i have had to flash my psp back to 1.5 before and theni updated again to 302oe and without moding anything viola! it might also be the fact that i have a ta082 mobo.

Has anyone attempted to address the issue of using saves from an emulator or Dexdrive? I can't figure out what the difference between the files is. The saves that the psp creates for psx games is a 129kb .dat file, wheras the standard memory card file for anything else is 128kb, and one of several file types. The easiest thing, just renaming the filetype doesn't work, and interestingly enough, it keeps the psx games from running at all (though they have no trouble running with no memory card file, as they just create new ones.) Any ideas?

Whats the latest on games that don't allow you to save before switching discs?
This seems like a problem SONY will work on and then hopefully us 3.02 OE users can take advantage of it also.

I have that same question regarding save files... I was wondering, if you have some saves from like emulators or a dex drive or whatever, is there a way to play those saves with popstation?
(someone should really work on that)
