Naturally, both the 'Odyssey' and 'Marco' devices will cross the firm's token four-inch 'superphone' screen size.
Huggy Bear once said, "I lay it out for y'all to play it out." That's exactly what a Californian court has been charged with doing for the ongoing patent war between Apple and Samsung. (http://www.mobile-ent.biz/news/read/apple-and-samsung-meet-in-court/018810)
The new lawsuit, which started yesterday, has already yielded news that Samsung is working on a 11.8-inch retina display tablet. (http://www.mobile-ent.biz/news/read/samsung-making-an-11-8-inch-tab-with-retina-display/018833)
Seemingly, the Korean OEM is unsatisfied with its Android dominance, and yearns for a Microsoft OS stronghold, as The Verge (http://www.theverge.com/2012/7/30/3201323/samsung-odyssey-marco-windows-phone-8-devices)claims Samsung is also working on at least two Windows Phone 8 smartphones.
The Qualcomm-powered devices, codenamed 'Odyssey' and 'Marco', will sport dual-core processors and LTE capabilities.
Meanwhile, the former will come with a 4.65-inch AMOLED HD display, an 8MP rear camera and NFC functionality, while the latter will boast a more modest four-inch screen, with a 5MP rear camera.
