I was thinking, we could modify the song "Fame" (I don't remember the artist, it's from the 70's) and make it say "MAME". Wouldn't that be funny?

Of course, we would need a DCEmu band, and a good lyric writer.

It would be a great idea. The tablature is pretty easy to grasp so it'd be cake to play.

the artist is david bowie and it's from the 80's me thinks. not enough lyrics in it tho. maybe homebrew (gangstars) paradise.

the three first lines, (to the beat of gangsta's paradise)
as I walk through the valley where I pick up my games, I take a look at the shelf and realize they're all lame, what would be the point of having a PSP if it wasn't for the homebrew community,

you get the idea

"Fame" was a pop song written by Michael Gore (music) and Dean Pitchford (lyrics) that was released in 1980 and achieved chart success as the theme song to the Fame movie and TV series. The song was performed by Irene Cara, who played the role of Coco Hernandez in the original movie. It won the Academy Award for Best Song.

Fame rose to #4 on the Billboard Hot 100 in the summer of 1980. The song was not released in the United Kingdom until 1982, so it would coincide with the UK premiere of the Fame television series. It hit #1 for three weeks.

If this is the correct version, it the song from the movie fame

Fame

Fame!
I'm gonna live forever.
I'm gonna learn how to fly,
High!
I feel it coming together,
People will see me and cry
Fame!
I'm going to make it to heaven,
Light up the sky like a flame,
Fame!
I'm gonna live forever,
Baby remember my name,
Remember, Remember, Remember, Remember, Remember, Remember.

Fame!
I'm gonna live forever,
Baby remember my name,
Remember, Remember, Remember, Remember, Remember, Remember.

"Fame" is a song recorded by David Bowie.

With the Young Americans sessions seemingly wrapped in late 1974, the material was delayed while Bowie extricated himself from his contract with manager Tony DeFries. During this time he was staying in New York, and met John Lennon. The pair socialised and jammed together, which led to a one-day session at The Power Plant studio in January 1975. There, Bowie contacted several members of his tour band. Firstly a cover of The Beatles’ "Across the Universe" was recorded. Then a new song called "Fame," inspired by a guitar riff written by Carlos Alomar and with the title from Lennon, was then hurriedly developed by Bowie, and recorded. Both tracks were then added to the Young Americans album. Despite having only a minor contribution, Lennon was given a co-writing credit due to the lyrics (bemoaning the nature of celebrity) being inspired by conversations he had with Bowie on the subject, and because Bowie acknowledged that Lennon singing "Fame!" over Alomar’s guitar riff was the catalyst for the song.

An edited version of "Fame" was issued as the second single from the album, and shot to number one on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 (ironically, a few months before a reissue of "Space Oddity" would give Bowie his first UK number-one single). In the UK, "Fame" would only reach number seventeen.

The song has recently been used on an advert on the British television channel BBC2; advertising the upcoming episode of Extras featuring Bowie himself.

Fame
David Bowie
- words and music by David Bowie, John Lennon and Carlos Alomar

Fame, makes a man take things over
Fame, lets him loose, hard to swallow
Fame, puts you there where things are hollow
Fame

Fame, it's not your brain, it's just the flame
That burns your change to keep you insane
Fame

Fame, what you like is in the limo
Fame, what you get is no tomorrow
Fame, what you need you have to borrow
Fame

Fame, "Nien! It's mine!" is just his line
To bind your time, it drives you to, crime
Fame

Could it be the best, could it be?
Really be, really, babe?
Could it be, my babe, could it, babe?
Really, really?

Is it any wonder I reject you first?
Fame, fame, fame, fame
Is it any wonder you are too cool to fool
Fame

Fame, bully for you, chilly for me
Got to get a rain check on pain
Fame

Fame, fame, fame, fame, fame, fame, fame, fame, fame, fame
Fame, fame, fame, fame, fame, fame, fame, fame, fame, fame
Fame, fame, fame

Fame
What's your name?

(whispered)
Feeling so gay, feeling gay

lmtlmt, I saved the sig onto my computer and tried to add it but it said the size was too big, 60.8 Kbs and it say's the maximum allowed is 19.5 Kbs, so I went into paint and saved it in different formats and found that as a jpg it was only 10 kbs so I added it in jpeg format, I didn't actually resize it, I just saved it as a jpeg.
I see what you mean tho, it is blurry compared to the original. What do you suggest?

EDIT: should I just have pasted the link?
EDIT #2:I tried pasting the link but it say's "remote file is too large" what am I doing wrong?
EDIT #3:Sweet, I figured it out, I just attached the image in the text window, looks heaps better now, thanks again for the sig :D
