In a research note distributed today, the analyst said: "We expect July console software sales to be led by new release EA's NCAA Football 13, with Ubisoft's Ghost Recon: Future Soldier (http://www.computerandvideogames.com/xbox-360/shoot-em-up/10921/ghost-recon-future-soldier/) and Take-Two's Max Payne 3 (http://www.computerandvideogames.com/pc/action/11071/max-payne-3/) and Spec Ops: The Line (http://www.computerandvideogames.com/xbox-360/shoot-em-up/11277/spec-ops-the-line/) expected to be among the top sellers, the latter due to its late June release date.
"Fellow new releases Activision Blizzard's Ice Age: Continental Drift, Atari's Test Drive: Ferrari Legends, and Electronic Arts' The Secret World (http://www.computerandvideogames.com/pc/mmo/9530/the-secret-world/) likely were all negatively impacted by weak reviews, with the latter hurt by growing disinterest in MMOs as well."
