Wi-Fi plus Cellular' helps out those apps struggling with wi-fi
We've all experienced problems with patchy wi-fi, and the new Wi-Fi plus Cellular setting on iOS 6 beta 4 appears to allow apps to fall back on the iPhone's mobile data connection when having difficulties moving data via the Wi-Fi connection.
Underneath the main button is a sub menu that allows users to turn mobile connections on or off for a number of tasks, basically giving users the option to use wi-fi only for data hungry apps like iTunes.
Keep in mind that this is only in the beta release, restricted to developers, so the settings could change before the full release or indeed be removed altogether.
Last week it was revealed that the latest beta release of iOS 6 does away with the native YouTube app (http://www.mobile-ent.biz/news/read/apple-boots-youtube-from-ios-6/018915).
