For all us Australians and Europeans Popstation has been a mixed success, although conversion tools are available, not all of them work to full potential. PAL4U has been arround since 1999 and is in the DCEMU OE custom firmware guide. It alows conversion between regions but is still slightly buggy. Well after 6 years of dead projectness Vezz (the coder) said this on his site:

We're back after a 6 year stop.
It seems that PSX games are back on PSP, so why not enhancing Pal4U2k a little more? I'm working on a v1.3 with perfect Y-centering and some extra features. Stay tuned.

That is top news. Theres a few of my games that dont convert properly so an update would be very handy. :)

This is really great news. Can't wait for it to be released. The converters built-in in the PopStation GUIs aren't always perfect, but this will hopefully fix it.

I havn't had any success converting from pal-ntsc, I've tried zapper2k and psx2psp and neither seem to change anything so I can't wait for this release.

The problem might just be the game i'm trying, I've been trying to convert Gran Turismo (I did try ff7 with zapper as well). Is Gran turismo one of the problem games by any chance??
