PS1 Question

Do i have to have 3.02 or 3.03 oe to play ripped ps1 games on my psp. I am currently on firmware 2.71 but i am weary of downgrading because last time i did it it bricked my old psp. So is there another way. I have devhook and everything and run normal isos.

Yes you will need 3.02 or 3.03 OE to play PSX games from your memory card if you don't have a PS3. I tried using Device Hook to emulate the official 3.03 firmware and got a message saying you must activate your system (your PSP) when I attempted to run one.

Yeah, and you shouldn't brick if you use an easy downgrader, even TA-082 users can downgrade now.
