Today is your last chance to download Flash before it disappears forever.
In November last year, Adobe announced that it would stop development of Flash for mobile devices (http://www.mobile-ent.biz/news/read/adobe-giving-up-on-flash-for-mobile/016086).
Today, it becomes a reality, as Adobe surrenders to HTML5 and stops development for Flash for mobile devices.
The first bump in the road for Adobe was when Apple refused to support it on iOS, but Adobe themselves failed to capitalise on its Android integration (http://www.loopinsight.com/2010/08/19/steve-jobs-was-right-flash-fails-on-android/).
Adobe is removing the option to install the plug-in because it is likely to perform poorly on Jelly Bean, however the company will continue to develop Flash for PCs.
It will also support Air, which lets developers turn web-based applications using Flash into standalone mobile apps.
