View Full Version : need help with audio on web browser (firefox)

okay so iv had firefox browser for a while now and i really like it. Iv only had one problem, when ever i go to youtube or google video's. I can see the video but i cant here the audio. Im asking does anyone know how to fix this?

Iv had this problem for a while now.....

hmm i suggest installing java, flash, macromedia, and such

Does this just happen on Firefox? What sound card are you using?

Also, check and see if you're using the latest Adobe Flash software.

yea i thought i would just have to instal a plug-in of some sort but i can't find one. Does anyone have the link to the latest adobe flash software. Il try installing that and see what happens unless someone has another solution....

they are plugged in, iv had no problems with sound other than when im on the net on firefox and want to watch a video that has audio

Did you check to see if you have the latest Adobe Flash (http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/download/download.cgi?P1_Prod_Version=ShockwaveFlash&promoid=BIOW) installed? :p

yea i have it installed and i still can't hear audio via my firefox web browser :(

bumped for reasons that (I still can't hear audio on my firefox browser when watching a video via youtube)

Have you tried re-download and installing Firefox?

yea i tried that, theres nothing wrong with my firefox. I think i have to have a plugin of some sort but still i looked and couldnt find one.

:( i just want to hear audio while watching vids on youtube. Anyone have a way to solve this problem?

yea the only problem is i dont know which plugin gives the ability to hear audio on videos via youtube. I downloaded so many all ready and i still can't hear audio.

Any one know!
