The lower screen uses a grid system to make navigating and editing the city a cinch, while game creator, Will Wright, who can be seen in these shots, turns up to offer helpful advice.

The city-wrecking UFOs are back, as they can be seen in one shot, kidnapping one of your little people. And we expect natural disasters and economic crashes to cause all kinds of mayhem in your miniature, portable town. And the detail in these shots is amazing.
Look forward to Sim City hitting DS later this year

SimCity DS... And here I was just planning to spend 800 Wii Points on the classical version... Let us hope the DS one is both as good and fun as the series tends to be, and not as bad as, say, The Sims (any on DS) is.

One small question (well, two actually): is this based mostly on Sim City 2000, and is there any talk of WFC support, if only for more content?
