There's still no word on when or if it will ever make it to the US, but the PSN and XBLA re-release of Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus (http://www.joystiq.com/game/guilty-gear-xx-accent-core-plus) had its Japanese release window narrowed from a rather broad "summer (http://www.joystiq.com/2012/04/18/guilty-gear-xx-accent-core-plus-coming-to-japan-this-summer-lim/)" time frame into late October, according to Andriasang (http://andriasang.com/con29x/guilty_gear_home_version/).
As you may have noticed, October is totally not summer at all, and no reason for the delay was given. We have learned a little more about the game's balance, though: At launch, GGXXACP will temporarily play identically to the PS2 version. Eventually, the game will be patched to reflect the changes made toGuilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus R, which is currently being tested in Japanese arcades.
