New from SuccessHK (http://www.superufo.com/product_html/SONY_PSP_SONY_PSP_Standard_Pack_Blue_Latest_Versio n.html?aff_id=24) are the Blue PSPs that were released just before Xmas, for those of us in Europe this our just about our only way to get hold of the Blue PSP because other shops are too scared of Sony.

http://www.superufo.com/item_photo/item/PSP-B-L.jpg

The price is a decent USD 196.00 (about 98 Pounds)

I bet those are preloaded with official firmware 3.03, no chance to run homebrew right off the bat yet. Still, the blue colour is good looking.

I think that colour looks really disgusting, to bland.

Actually, they come with 2.81 - 3.01 fw. Aftermarket faceplates are more attractive in my opinion.

They come firmware 2.81-3.01? Now that's highly useful to know. Do you know the letter codes that tell what version the PSP in the box would have?

WHAT?! yellow is not a color I would want my psp to be, as it would show dirt like nobody's buisiness and wouldn't look too appealing (look how a blue psp turned out) I say either just green or for complete fancifality go with a green-black camo psp. That would be boss.

If I had 200 bucks to drop I would definitely get one and hold onto it. I wouldn't even take it out of the box until the TA-086 can be exploited. Then it would be straight up Pwnzor.

Hey guys, just stopped by a Best Buy today and they had a pretty big stack of $199.99 PSP's.

All of them were PSP-1001 models with the letter K under the 120V.

I want to invest in a another PSP to downgrade it to 1.50 and then upgrade to 3.03 OE-A'. I would prefer to get a new one rather than a used and I have a ton of Best Buy gift cards so I gotta get it at Best Buy.

So if as many people as possible can let me know which firmware and MOBO comes on a letter K PSP I would greatly appreciate it. I have seen it posted somewhere that letter K was 2.71 w/ TA-082 mobo. Can anyone confirm/deny?

Thanks guys!

Thank you for taking the time to reply to my post. I've seen from quite a few places now that K means 2.71 so I feel good.
