Google expresses concern that ruling could limit consumer access to Android devices

Apple is seeking to ban sales of eight Samsung phones following its landmark $1bn lawsuit victory against the mobile giant last week.
The world’s most valuable company is attempting to ban the sale of the Galaxy S 4G, Galaxy S2 AT&T, Galaxy S2, Galaxy S2 T-Mobile, Galaxy S2 Epic 4G, Galaxy S Showcase, Droid Charge and the Galaxy Prevail.

Latest generation sales of the device are not affected however.
As well as being penalised with a $1.05bn fine for infringing six of Apple’s patents,Reuters (http://uk.reuters.com/article/2012/08/27/uk-samsung-shares-idUKBRE87Q00220120827) has reported shares in the company fell 7.5 per cent on Monday, resulting in a loss of $12bn in the firm’s value.
The latest move by Apple, if successful, could see a further de-valuation of the mobile giant.
