No. Prices vary depending on how much they can get it from their wholesalers

I love my 4 gb. I got mine for $90 a few months ago.
I only didn't like it when some data got corrupted taking up 1.5 gigs (computer thought it was 60gb). I was dumping wipeout pure, and i found a lot of data was gone, but there wasn't an iso made. I look forever and found it was in SnakeSP's kxploit folder. I had to back up all data except that folder, then put it all back on. I dont even have USB2.0. It took about 3 hours to do it all...

I still think it's a lot for 4 gigs of space... some1 needs to figure out how to hook an ipod hard drive to it. but i mean i can transfer back and forth for now for a lot cheaper.

Nice! Good to see memory stick prices falling.

Anyone spot any good deals on 4GB Ultra II sticks?

Every time Superufo has a price drop in the 4 gb sticks and they are announced, many people mention newegg and other sites. They may be a sponsor, but lower prices are good (plus newegg is a very reliable site from my experiences with them.)

I got my SanDisk 4GB Memory Stick PRO Duo for $65 a few weeks before Christmas. Buy.com had them for $85 and offered a coupon for $20 off. Right after Christmas, they jacked the price back up to $105.

I'm glad I got it early. ^_^

Por... no. Almost said it though.

About 50 quid? Damn that's a good deal. Just minutes after I decided I'll need one to replace my (fake) Sony 4GB as well. Scary.

Go to Best Buy. I got mine for 100 CDN. That's around $85 American? It's their sale price but they've had it like that for three out of the last four weeks and only stopped doing the sale during boxing week. Even before that, they usually do it every other week or so.

Three questions:

1. Is the Sony stick any better than the Sandisk one?
2. What's Ultra II?
3. Has anyone ordered from one of these sites and had it shipped to the UK? If so, did you get hammered for customs charges, and how long did it take?

Thanks!

1. No. Its overpriced and slow when it comes to read/write
2. Just a faster version of the original Sandisk (blue)
3. If you're going to have it shipped to the UK, its best to order within your country. But I would think sites that do ship overseas wont hammer you with custom charges.
