An expansion to the 2007 Monster Hunter Frontier (http://www.joystiq.com/tag/monster-hunter-frontier/) game was announced today at the Monster Hunter Frontier Appreciation Festival in Tokyo. Monster Hunter Frontier G, announced for Xbox 360 and PC, will launch in Japan on April 17 next year.
According to a translation by Andriasang (http://andriasang.com/con2jz/mhfg_announced/), the update will include 10 new monsters, over 300 G-class weapons and armor sets, over 30 new skills and four new elementals. The site also notes Capcom's plans for frequent updates in the G series, with further expansions also planned for Fall 2013 and Spring 2014.
