Majesco's action-horror series BloodRayne is to sink its pointy vampire teeth into Sony's PSP in a new game that's unique to the handheld platform.
According to reports emerging out of the US, BloodRayne on PSP will stick to the series' established action-horror roots, the single-player adventure exploring the history/origin of BloodRayne, the slinky human-vampire crossbreed and star of the franchise. Further details on the plot are scarce, but there's at least talk of characters from other titles in the series making an appearance.

BloodRayne PSP is said to be making full use of the handheld's wireless connectivity too via a two-player co-op mode. It's not entirely clear at this stage whether co-op will allow players to tackle the single-player adventure together, although it is mentioned that players work - or kill we suppose - in tandem with chain and combo attacks and can unlock new fighting moves.

Word is that BloodRayne PSP will be revealed in all its blood-spattering gory at this year's E3 in May. A release is currently expected this autumn.
