Bottle Stop implores pubs and clubs to realise the dangers of glass bottles and the "living hell" they can cause.
ME attended RIM's London-based BBM Party back in April, wherestars Jessie J and Wretch 32 performed (http://www.mobile-ent.biz/news/read/photo-gallery-from-last-night-s-bbm-party/017650), while TOWIE cast members were among merrymakers.
Sadly, the BlackBerry gala ended abruptly when 37-year-old guest and RIM employee Philip Sherriff was stabbed in the neck with a glass bottle (http://www.mobile-ent.biz/news/read/me-exclusive-my-night-of-horror-at-the-bbm-party/017647), which resulted in his death four days later. The shocking end to the married father-of-two's life has encouraged his wife Jane to launch Bottle Stop, a campaign designed to ban glass bottles from clubs and pubs, as she tells ITV (http://www.itv.com/news/granada/2012-08-31/widows-campaign-to-ban-bottles-from-pubs-and-clubs/)of her "living hell."
Bottle Stop currently has more than 27,000 Facebook 'Likes' and support from Stephen Fry and Jason Manford, click here (https://www.facebook.com/bottlestopnow?ref=ts) to find out more about the cause.
