After months of almost worrying silence from Nibris since announcing the game Sadness for Wii, the developer has has finally open piped up with firm details about Sadness and word that it is working on a further two games for Nintendo systems.

According to cubed3.com, Nibris has confirmed a Wii version of Raid over the River, an up-scrolling shooter previously announced for DS. The two versions will apparently link with each other, presumably using the wi-fi capabilities of the Wii and DS consoles, although Nibris is keeping tight-lipped on what features this will offer.

According to the site, Nibris is also working on a new shooter-come-puzzle game for DS called Double Bloob, in which players have to destroy different coloured Bloobs (we like bloobs).

Although Cubed3 says both the Wii and DS versions of Raid over the Moon will strangely "launch Q3 2008", last word from Nibris suggested an early 2007 release for the DS version.

Release dates for Double Bloob and Sadness remain to be confirmed, but CVG has contacted Nibris regarding the matter and awaits a reply. Lets hope they don't go AWOL for another six months.

So which is it, "Raid Over the River" or "Raid Over the Moon"?

Perhaps they f'cked up and meant Q3 '07?

Whatever. All I know is that I love up-scrolling shooters and one on the DS will own.

Can't wait for Sadness news.
