Microsoft's Xbox Live service has returned back online in full capacity, the company has announced.

Microsoft's Xbox Live Status page (http://support.xbox.com/en-GB/xbox-live-status) had initially acknowledged that the Xbox Live service was down.Now it appears the service is fully operational.
"We apologise for any inconvenience caused," Microsoft said in a message on its Xbox Live status page.
