Square Enix's much-lauded Final Fantasy XII will launch on PS2 on February 23 in PAL territories, the developer has confirmed.
FFXII has sold four million-plus copies in Japan and North America where it's already available and, as we reported previously, won Edge magazine's Best Game 2006 award.
John Yamamoto, president and CEO of Square Enix, described the PAL launch of FFXII as being "our biggest release since Square Enix started self publishing across Europe last year."
In its review, our sister magazine PSW scored Final Fantasy XII 9 out of 10, saying "everything about it is fully fleshed out, coherent, totally playable and completely sublime."
