HP has launched a new desktop PC under its high-end Spectre brand, and all-in-one device that features near-field communications and an ultra-thin 11.5mm profile.
However, despite utilising the Windows 8 operating system, the Spectre One does not feature any touch capability nor does it carry an optical drive, due to the space constraints imposed by having such a thin profile.
Nonetheless, Engadget reports that it does have USB 3.0 connectivity, HMDI capabilities, integrated Beats audio and a memory card reader as well as optional discrete graphics and SSD.
For those users aching for touchscreen capabilities, however, HP also launched the slightly cheaper Envy 20 and 23, which have 20 and 23-inch screens respectively.
