more IRC trouble

damn, i cant log on to DCEMU IRC no matter what I try.

first I get this msg

Error : Closing Link: 127.0.0.1 (Invalid username [Test_???])

so it looks like my username is in use. So I go to the bottom right and change my name to DCVega. It then says im nt connected. so i type /connect . This is what I get :

WTF? Could someone please tell me what command line I should type in? I think im changing my Nickname the wrong way

Yeah, Vega is currently in use and might be for a long time, so you'll need to find an alternative nickname.

To connect to a server, try:
/server irc.efnet.pl

To change your nick, try:
/nick Vega

2 good EFnet servers are:
irc.efnet.pl & irc.servercentral.net

I personally use irc.efnet.pl. I recommend you add some character to your name also. try:

`vega
_vega
or put numbers after your name.

I've always had to use ^Kaiser^ myself. Someday I'll hunt down the sucker who took Kaiser. ;)
