New Release from Dragonminded (http://dragonminded.blogspot.com/)

Well, I've put out another maintenence release, fixing a few crash bugs and one playback bug, as well as adding a DSO executable format! It is very similar to a plugin but runs standalone instead of attached to a specific set of extensions. Check it out here (http://www.dragonminded.com/?loc=ndsdev/DSOrganize)and download the newest beta! Don't forget to grab the newest wonderswan plugin as the update has added new features to the plugin framework and thus will not work with older plugins!

Head to the newly opened Addons Page (http://www.dragonminded.com/?loc=ndsdev/DSOrganize%20Addons) to grab stuff designed for DSOrganize. If you want to see your creation on this page and I haven't found it while trolling the forums yet, email me at [email protected] and I'll slap it up there for you.

Also, please read my post on the GBADev forums (http://forum.gbadev.org/viewtopic.php?p=115156) about DSOrganize file formats.

PS. There is a new libFB out as well, with some bugfixes, optimizations to the text rendering engine, and and overall code cleanup. BONUS: Documentation!

Changelog

Fixes found in 2.45

* Fixed crash on sample language bug.
* Fixed sqrt button not working in calculator.
* Fixed scrollbar in text reader not showing highlighted status.
* Fixed massive slowdown with some text files in browser.
* Fixed bug with mono mp3s and skipping.
* Added icon and description to plugin files in the browser.
* Added DSO executable type for standalone apps.
* Added raw stream API to plugins and executables.*
* Added more commands to help text in IRC.

*NOTE: Since the plugin architecture has been updated, please download the latest version of your favorite plugins to continue using them.

Heres a description for those who dont know what this app is:

DSOrganize is meant as a homebrew organizer application for the Nintendo DS that should have come built in in the first place. It is by no means comparible to a full-fledged organizer such as a palm, and it is not planned to become an operating system, video player, or anything similar.

i hope the booting of HOMEBREW will be better on MMD... it would only boot apps downloaded from the 'Homebrew Database'

Make sure you patch the exec_stub.bin file with a DLDI patch to get booting to work. It might not work anyway, but it's worth trying.

Not working. Error! and something about chism library etc..

2.3 worked perfectly on my M3miniSD v2.

firstknight, try patching it with http://mdxonlinemirror.dyndns.org/resources/20070101_dldi_scsd_ver10_20070101.zip instead and see if it works on your SCLite. Only reading works at the moment with this DLDI patch, not writing.

Does anyone have the bug where in calculator if you hit the 1 button fast it comes up with seemingly random numbers. Even if I try to enter it slowly it comes up with a strange number eventually.

Edit: Actually, it seems like any number in that row will cause the bug. 1, 4 or 7 tapped rapidly.

firstnight, It's really not that hard. Just go to http://chishm.drunkencoders.com/DLDI/index.html and download the patcher and the GUI, putting all the files in one folder. Then download the patch I posted and put that in the same folder. Run the GUI and patch your homebrew.

I don't have an SC Lite so I can't tell whether or not it will work for you.

Have you tried patching with both the original SC Lite DLDI patch and the modified one I linked you to? Not at the same time of course, one at a time.

You can just delete the .png file that the scribble is saved in..

I have a M3 lite perfect and I can't seem to get it to go beyond the loading page. I used the software patcher that it comes with, but that doesn't seem to be working either.

Does anyone have any suggestions? It would be appreciated. thanks!

---

I've actually got it to load, but got an error that I have an incompatible card. Is there anything I can do to make it work (i.e. patch it)? If so, please explain to me how to do it. Thanks!

I have SupercardLite (MicroSD) too, and DSO works perfectly.

- Download DSOrganize v2.45 (first page here)
- Go to http://chishm.drunkencoders.com/DLDI/ and download sclt.dldi (http://chishm.drunkencoders.com/DLDI/downloads/sclt.dldi) then download patching software (http://chishm.drunkencoders.com/DLDI/downloads/dlditool-win32.zip)
-Unzip all in one folder
-Open a comand prompt (go to start>run>write "cmd")
-Find your folder with the unzipped DSO, dldi and patcher
-Write: dlditool sclt.dldi DSOrganize.sc.nds just like that and your DSorganize will be patched.
-Finally copy the folder DSOrganize and DSOrganize.sc.nds to your flashcart.

I hope it helps

does dsorganize work on ez4

It works perfect! (as long as you dldi patch it, which isn't hard)
