Hi All,

Here is a new version of PSP7800 the Atari 7800 console emulator !

What's new in version 1.0.2 :

- Add Sound support !
- Add new render modes (Normal, x1.25, x1.5)
- Add Frame skip option
- Add new speed limiter option
- Fix colors palette (merge the code from ProSystem v1.1)
- Code cleaning

How to use it ? Everything is in the README.txt file.

Sources are included, and this package is under the GNU public license,
read COPYING.txt file for more information about it.

This should be the last release (even if the sound is a bit crappy),
only if major bugs are found ...

Enjoy,

Zx

You don't like PSPStella ? Because months ago, i've begun to port this emu, but when i've seen there was one already, i've stopped this project ... :o

First let me thank you for once again proving that you are the pillar of old-school gaming emulators. Thanks for your continued work on these.

I must say that I am sad that you stopped working on a 2600 EMU. I didn't care for PSPStella either.

If you could ever find the time and will to continue work on a 2600 port it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks again!

Actually I have bugged you before about that...MANY games don't work properly..it claims to have paddle support..none work..and the sound is COMPLETELY off....as if it were higher than the original sound I believe...yes it plays some games...some won't boot and some have rolling flickers that make the game unplayable...there was only 2 versions of the emu and it was abandoned...and in comparison to your 5200,7800 and intellivision it was FAR from complete.
I have begged you before, and you told me to wait cause someone you knew was working on one...nothing ever came...

So now those of you who want a real 2600 emu let ZX know so we can get his mad skills to code/port a REAL functioning emu and do gaming history justice with the grandaddy of them all....Atari 2600!!!

and as before I say ZX...if you don't wanna I completly understand...but I'm sure there are a great many people who'd love a real good 2600.
If not you...then someone must do it...so many othere systems have a well done emu even GP32 I understand..seems a shame there's only a partial port available after all this time for PSP....

I will keep hope...
and somehow believe Zx will come to the rescue:thumbup:

ZX- Before you go finalizing this one, there are a ton of games that don't start, but work just fine in the windows version of this emulator..

Specifically:

Ace of Aces
Beef Drop (Burgertime)
Ballblazer
Double Dragon
Kung-Fu Master
Mean 18
Meltdown
Midnight Mutants
Rampage
Scrapyard Dog
F-18 Hornet
Tank Command

Thanks for your feedback, i've found the bug (word alignment problem between intel/mips). It will be fixed in the next version (coming soon).

Ok i will work on this one, but it will be a Stella port, and if there were bugs in Stella, all those bugs will still appear in my port version ;).

Cool, noticed the same problem with some of the titles, figured it was just bad roms. Have noticed some garbled sound (ie Donkey Kong)
Ninja Golf has black band in middle of screen unfortunately it is vital to game to see there..
.....occasionally after loading 4-5 games a game doesn't start just goes all black and the PSP freezes needing a reboot....could be your issue or ther fact I'm 3.02OE-A (which I never knew if I should upgrade further...I don't need Psx and wish to be able to return to 1.5 if necessary...a couple of my emu's aren't working now...(Dgen for one)
so this probably doesn't help any....

All in all, once you get this latest bug ironed out...we will once again have a solid gold Zx classic emu!

ALL HAIL ZX!!!

If you are referring to bugs in PC Stella...If memory serves it ran about 99% of the 500 roms perfectly fine...even paddle games (using a mouse of course and I don't expect a real functional solution on PSP)
Most games used joystick anyhow.

I bow to the master for his gracious promise of the creation of portable nostalgia gaming zen!

Thank you times a google!
