Is there a possibility to get an Location ID from other Countrys, not just only the USA???

Or am I to blind to find other Countrys on the Site (Weather.com).

It is possible to get locations from other countries than the USA. Just search for the city on www.weather.com and click the relevant result. Then the Location ID is in the URL i.e. for Birmingham, UK the address is:

http://www.weather.com/outlook/travel/businesstraveler/local/UKXX0018?from=search_city

so the Location ID is UKXX0018

i have a SuperCard DS one
and i had dsliveWeather patched with the dldi for scds.it's patched successfully.

but when I launch it in nds
it shows
--------------------------
DsWifi ready!
LibFat ready!
Error loading profiles. (FAT)
Error loading reports. (FAT)
Error loading forecasts. (FAT)
Keys: START =save.
SELECT = view help.
----------------------------------

i thought maybe because i didn't create the directory
"weather/fetch2.php"
after i create that directory and file.
the error still there.

does anyone have the same problem?

I also am using the SuperCard DS one. You need to make sure that you have a 'DSLiveWeather' folder in the root of your microSD card, and the DSLiveWeather.nds file inside it. It then saves the profiles and reports in that folder. Hope that helps

I also have the same problem as liusega. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

The reasons you are getting those errors is because you don't have a DSLiveWeather folder.

Just follow my instructions, ill make them even simpler:

1. Create a folder in the ROOT of your microSD card called 'DSLiveWeather'.
2. Copy DSLiveWeather.nds into that folder
3. Run DSLiveWeather.nds on your ds
4. Enter a profile name e.g. 'Birmingham'
5. Enter a Weather.com Location ID e..g 'ukxx0018'
6. Goto 'Currently' tab and press X to connect to wifi
7. Press A to manually update.
7. Goto 'Forecast' tab and press A to update.
8. Press Start to save.

Simply!

Liusega: weather/fetch2.php isn't a directory on your ds, it's a remote location for the server.

Awesome, thanks. I didn't know pushing X connected and A updated. Looks like those initial errors are only because I hadn't downloaded any weather reports yet. Works very well, awesome homebrew. Thanks!

Im having the same problem as Liusega and I did what you said and made a folder called DSLiveWeather in the root directory, but it still gives me that error and can't do anything else because it freezes after displaying the error message. What's wrong?

Can anyone help ?

superb little app, but i have spotted a couple of things

it doesnt get the dates right. i was up at 2.30am GMT (dont ask) and i updated the forecast page. it still thought it was the 21st of june, when it was the 22nd.

also, the keyboard is a bit glitchy, i.e. ive tapped the U key, and it types out the letter R =S

hope this helps you in your next revision.

do your wifi games work ok?

try setting your main NDS wifi settings to use a manual IP.

Sigtyr

Yeah, my wifi games work fine. And I have no idea how to set it to use a manual IP. :X

ok, if you are on a router (most people are these days) heres what to do:

start a wifi game e.g. mario kart.

goto the wifi settings, choose the first settings tab out of the 3

let it do search for you first and once its found your router, you can change the IP settings.

goto where it says obtain IP (not sure exactly, doing it off the top of my head) and click the icon that isnt selected, the IP entry options will open up.

for your IP, enter the IP address of your router + 10, i.e. router IP = 192.168.0.1, IP to enter = 192.168.0.10

you can use any number at the end, just make sure its not being used by a machine on the router.

for gateway use the router IP

subnet mask = 255.255.255.0

primary dns = router IP

secondary dns leave blank.

do a connection test, it should connect. save all settings.

reboot ds, or soft reboot

start BEUP.

um hi, iam a new user and iam not so pro at this kind off stuff...

i got the program, i run it on the r4 card, it runs fine.
the screen loads and says:

Dswifi ready!
Libfat failed...
error loading profiles
error loading reports error loading forecasts
keys: etc etc...

ignore all those errors and put in the name: sydney,
the the code: ASXX0122
i go to the currently tab and press "x". it connects to the ap successfully then it says:
"connecting to DSLW server...
receiving cc 0...
processing cc 0... [512]

it doesn't do anything from there... what should i do??!?!?!?
