I'm releasing a new version with the following changes:

- convert enabled for Katana, WinCE and Naomi binaries
- checking for new version
- manual binary identification
- doesn't try to convert if scanned binary was deleted

download at his site (http://consolevision.com/members/dchelp/?My_Projects:1ST_READ.BIN_Checker) or here (http://dreamcast.dcemu.co.uk/cgi-bin/cfiles.cgi?0,0,0,0,68,490)

what do you mean with this :

"convert enabled for Katana, WinCE and Naomi binaries"

?

The last version didn't have the Convert button enabled if 1ST_READ.BIN Checker detected the binary as Katana, WinCE or Naomi.

This has been changed to allow you to scramble those types of binaries as it was before believed that they were only able to be selfbooted if the binary was unscrambled.

Does that mean too that we are now able to burn things like segagen together with homebrew softs on the same disc?

Those boot loaders simply don't support loading commercial libraries and doesn't really have anything to do with whether they're scrambled or not.

Oh yeah just remembered that... It has nothing to do. Oh boy.. After burning lots of things here i came up with a dumb question like that. Maybe because there is a long time I dont burn a thing for my DC.

If you really wanted to, you could use one of the web browsers (at first I thought PW but it could be DreamKey) or the DreamOn demo menu.

...or the OSDM menu we used in our Final Fight: Last Round SE at DCEvo.

Hi 1stvinicius. :)
