via MaTiAz (http://forums.qj.net/f-psp-development-forum-11/t-release-vsh-rebooter-prx-v02-90572.html)
MaTiAz has released VSH Rebooter PRX v0.2, a plug-in for PRX devs.
v0.2 also comes with an installer.
http://img183.imageshack.us/img183/2089/rbprxscreenshotqjpreviecc3.jpg

Changelog:

* Included an easy installer, which can install the PRX to Network Update or Location Free TV (or both if you like). Read the notes about the installer though.
* The Reboot PRX can now shut down the PSP too, hold L while selecting Network Update -> shutdown

This comes with an installer, Though make sure you check out the installation notes just in case you're relatively new at this and not really sure about what you're doing. To install, just follow these steps:

1. Copy the rbprxinst folder to /psp/game/ like you would with any other homebrew (GAME, not GAME150 or GAME302)
2. Launch the Reboot PRX Installer
3. If you don't know what to do after these steps, you should NOT be using this or trying to install this.

As for warnings, MaTiAz himself states:

This program comes with NO WARRANTY AT ALL, so follow the instructions so you're safe. I'm not responsible for bricks, and I doubt there will be any, except for because of user stupidity (which I doubt will happen either).

FINAL WORD

OK, this thing works OK in 3.03 OE-B, BUT WITH SOME CONS.

You can change the text, but don't forget you're using a 2.50 FW file... because the newer fw have the file encrypted.

Anyways... To change the Network Update text to whatever you want, you'll have to HEX edit the file topmenu_plugin.rco.

the 3.02 and 3.03 firmware have the same topmenu_plugin.rco file. it's identical but they are encrypted.

i guess if you try a topmenu_plugin from version 2.50 FW or higher file, you CAN use it and change the text, but i warn you that DOING THIS WILL HAVE LANGUAGE INCOMPABILITIES!

for instance, the language portuguese will have some text switched, and some messages switched also...

Besides this, I can't find anything else more to review...

About the topmenu_plugin language problems, the same goes to the ones that want to change the icons... Same applies...

If i'm not mistaken, in the 3.03 FW version, the topmenu_plugin.rco file IS encrypted.
SO, is there a way to decrypt it?

I'm sorry... I guess I'm a little confused... XD help plz?

Is it possile to change the other functions of the xmb, i am on 3.03oe-b and wondered if a umd dump could be worked into the umd update icon, it would be a much easyer way to backup your legal umd's.
