flaregames GmbH (http://www.flaregames.com/), a leading developer and publisher of mobile games, today released Royal Revolt! (http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/royal-revolt!/id545670708?mt=8), the company’s 3D reverse tower defense game. The title is being developed by Keen Flare, the joint venture between flaregames and Frankfurt-based studio keen games. The game is now available in the Apple AppStore (http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/royal-revolt!/id545670708?mt=8) for free for iPhone, iPod and iPad.
The colorful and humorous Royal Revolt! is about a young prince, who after the death of his father, the king, had his kingdom stolen. With simple and intuitive touch controls, the player directs the Prince through the beautifully designed levels and helps him conquer 30 castles to get the country back.
Royal Revolt! is a "reverse tower defense" game, where the player is on the offense, taking castles instead of defending them.
"Royal Revolt! is our most ambitious game to date, and we‘re striving to achieve a seven-digit number in terms of downloads," said Klaas Kersting, CEO of flaregames.
