Gamers have been calling for it, and now Microsoft has delivered.
Xbox Live users are now able to register for the rejuvenated Xbox Live Rewards scheme and will automatically be rewarded according to their existing Gamerscore.
Those with a score of between 3,000-9,999 points will be entitled to a special gift of some sorts during their birthday month. For between 10,000 and 24,999 you’ll also be entitled to a one per cent rebate on some XBL purchases.
This increases to two per cent for those with a score of 25,000 or over.
More or less everything is included – Arcade purchases, games on Demand, DLC and avatar extras. In fact, only MS Point and XBL Memberships are excluded as far as we can tell.
All you need to do to take part is register here (http://rewards.xbox.com/myachievements/).
