SCEA has kicked off a new promotion that offers PlayStation Network users a rebate for frivolous spending on the PlayStation Store this month.

Hitting $100 buying $6 PSN would have been tough, but with the recent introduction ofSony's 'PSN Day 1 Digital' program (http://www.computerandvideogames.com/370023/psn-gets-day-1-digital-releases-for-retail-titles/) - which offers PS3 retail games digitally on the same day as their arrival in shops - hitting that mark should be easy. Especially with Resident Evil 6 and Need for Speed Most Wanted on the list of titles included in the program this month.
The promotion counts any and all purchases, so buying a PS Plus subscription, and spending funds that was in your wallet prior to October is all acceptable. $100 spent is all that matters.
