PSP firmware 2.60 options

Please could someone tell me if im able to play game with firmware 2.60 using the GTA method?. I was running homebrew a few months ago but have since lost the stuff on the duo stick!!!!.

Upgrade to 2.80... then downgrade to 1.50, then upgrade to 3.02...

You can get the 2.80 update here (http://www.psp-hacks.com/file/663)
Then put the eboot.pbp in ms0:/PSP/GAME/UPDATE/eboot.pbp

After that, you wanna downgrade to 1.5 using my newly released easy downgrader!!! Found here (http://www.dcemu.co.uk/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=49896).

Then if you wanna update to 3.03 OE, which has a ton of pluses more than 1.5, you can get the files for that http://www.sharebigfile.com/file/59606/303-OE-A-zip.html... I made the files myself and tested it 3 times with these same files. Just paste the folders inside the rar in ms0:/PSP/GAME...
Then enjoy homebrew straight from the memory card game place spot...
P.S: I am not responsible if anything happens to your PSP because of my packs, but it's all been tested, so you should be good.

I would like to downgrade but I affraid of trashing my psp!!!!. What is the sucess rate?.

Tested 5...Success 5, and add me to the list so 6/6, plus many other people used it, so it is quite safe, but there is always a small risk of bricking.

You are missing out of a plethora of great homebrew by not being on 3.03OE

upgrade to 2.71 then downgrade, the 2.71 downgrader is a lot safer than the 2.80 downgrader, and its very easy to do..

Yes Like Zion said update to 2.71 is much safer then 2.80

Actually, the new HEN-D 2.80 downgrader is the safest :) It detects TA-082 and includes the TA-082 downgrader, and is basically Dark_AleX's generic downgrader.
