Team tOc (The Oblivious Coders) is proud to present our first release, a Flash1 Formatter!

Flash1 Formatter is a program for the PSP that allows you to recover from a corrupted flash1.

NOTE:
THIS PROGRAM ONLY WORKS THROUGH RECOVERY.
BE SURE TO READ THE README.

wow this is cool, but can anyone tell me if i can downgrade back to 1.5 from 3.03 OE-B? lol its not bricked i just miss my 1.5, i doubt this program does the trick

U need to put the 1.5 pdate in a folder i forget.... in the directory listed in the recovery.

Run that then the update for 1.5 will run.

But i dont see why ude do it tho.....

I had this program sent a month or so back form a dev for a problem i had but was too chicken shit to use it lol.

How exactly would you mess up your psp through the flash1 anyway? Just wondering since every mod, custom thing Ive done to my flash is in the flash0...so thats where I was just wondering here.

Why would you miss 1.5? 3.03 OEB is sooooo much better. You can do anything 1.5 can do in 3.03 OEB plus you have the PS1 emulator. Its no contest.

will this work on a 1.50 i have a bricked 1.50 it goes to the bsod and boots up a blank white screen and then goes back to the BSOD and keeps going in that cycle

If you have recovery mode, then possibly.

new arround here...in psp world too ... maybe u can have some time to write me back...i have bricked my psp during an 2.71->1.51 downgrade...and now psp boot at startup but the display remains open some seconds after that turn off, and i can t enter in the menu...i readed a lot on websites and i understand it s an semibrick...can i recover my psp ?and how?the right button doesn t work on startup to boot recovery , since i have installed 2.71 not an 2.71 se...can i do something about that?thanks and any help is appreciated.

If you cant enter recover mode(hold r at startup to enter) then i think its bricked.
