Hi All,

Caprice32 is one of the best emulator of the Amstrad CPC home computer series running on Windows and Unix, written by Ulrich Doewich. This emulator faithfully imitates the CPC464, CPC664, and CPC6128 models (see http://sourceforge.net/projects/caprice32)

Here is a first version for both JXD S5110 (http://compare.ebay.co.uk/like/160826988980?var=lv&ltyp=AllFixedPriceItemTypes&var=sbar&cbt=y) & JXD S601 (http://www.amazon.com/Zuweiyu-Android-Console-Screen-Support/dp/B006WX261U) android console. The touchscreen is not supported so you have to use only console buttons (like PSP or Caanoo version).

I have modified the Pandora version and port it to android using the amazing framework of Pelya, a big 'merci' for his awesome work. (See https://github.com/pelya/commandergenius )

How to use it ? Everything is in the README file. This package is under GPL Copyright, read COPYING file for more information about it.

Binary APK and source archive can be found on my blog : http://zx81.zx81.free.fr/

Enjoy,

Zx.

wow awesome to see you back, im not familiar with these consoles, any good for emulation of PSX/N64 ? Hi Wraggy, the JXD S601 and S5110 are Chinese android based gaming consoles. They are really suitable for old school emulations. See http://www.jxd.hk/ for JXD products. The S5110 has a wide screen (> 5") and it looks like the PSVita, with analog pad and all android buttons + PSVita Buttons. You can use it as a wifi / tablet, using the multi-point touch screen. All android games run pretty well, and most of emulators can take all the benefit of pad+buttons. And finally this console cost less than 100$ !

awesome, i did post about a JXD console which looks like a clone of the WIIU Tablet, cant remember the actual name of it but it looked great for homebrew. I did a quick google search but seems that theres no other releases for the consoles, do you know of any ?

JXD is android based console, so most all android games are running pretty well on it.Android emulators for SNES, N64 or even PSX are running smoothly as well.
