Dang! Now I can't get online with Madden! I can use the browser, but I can't use online play. I know I got my settings right and all, but I don't know if it's the firmware or not.

Now I can't play Popstation or anything cause of the lack of games...

I might just go back to .51 Devhook...

I have a problem running some of my emulators on this firmware right now. I checked, and i have my homebrews in the GAME150 folder. Nester causes the PSP to turn off, and the gameboy emulator GeMP simply returns me to the XMB. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

If i download this, will i be able to play new umd's?

Triv1um xxx, if you upgrade to the custom firmware, you can play UMD titles that require you to have version 3.03 and still be able to play homebrew on it.

Ya this a forum were we don't pirate our games. If we don't pay for the games the consul simply dies. I'm sure most of us do, do things that are not approoved on these forums, but here we do not discuss piracy or any matter regarding theft of video games.

I can't upgrade to 3.03 OE-C cause it won't generate a usable dxar file to copy and popstation won't open on my computer. I keep opening it, but it pops up for a milisecond then disappears and nothing happens. Also, is there a site where I can find already PSP friendly PSone games for my PS1P emu? Thanks

1, you have the wrong files redownload and retry

2. if you have the original PSX games then you can play em on psp, dont download.

I need actual step by step instructions on how to use Popstation and to use the 3.03 OE-C upgrader. If anyone can help without telling me to use the Readme file, then I'll appreciate it.

Im going to need that as well. Have 3.10 OE-A and have no POpstation. Help would be nice.

Diplomat223, if you are wanting to convert PSX isos to playable EBOOT format, try using IceTea 1.3. You can see a bit more about it here (http://www.dcemu.co.uk/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=51936). It's much easier to use than Popstation.

Ah, thanks for that tip of advice, but I already got Popstation.

I found a guide for Popstation for 3.10 OE-A users and it worked perfectly. Only required 2-3 steps and your done.

I want to avoid turning my PSP into a brick. I reveived my GPS290 today and want to start the software install for your custom 3.03 firmware. The instructions you point to are for installing 3.02. Can I back up my PSP somehow in case I mess up ?

Do I need the 150,302 and EBOOT PBP files ?

As a first timer- I'm a bit confused where to start.

i have the custom firmware 3.03 OE-A and am having trouble updating to this one.
do i need to downgrade back to 1.50 and then upgrade?
also does the GBA/SNES emulators/roms work with this? beacuse i cant get ither to work on my current firmware.

o yes also i dont have a game150 folder. wen i change my current game folder to game150 it dosent show up on the psp

its much better if you use the recovery and then update later... remember, dont use a fake memory stick!!!

i have tried loads of different things and nothing works
inclueding the iso file with the iso in it in the root folder
and in every other folder but nothing.
