So i'm going to Australia for 6-9 months with my GF in aug - oct time.

She is a nurse and should be easy to get a job, but i'm a interactive multi media design guy, and so i was wondering how hard will it before me to get a job?

Also any other advice etc?

hell, if any of you Aussies want to offer my a job now, that would be great ;)

what part of my land are you coming to, it is easier in some states to get jobs than otheres.
and great to see a (temperary) aussie on the forums :p

err really not sure to be honest.... i know Australia is bigger than europe, need to figure that out. My GF talks about traveling around... which makes things harder for me :/

well there is a major skills shortage in western australia at the moment so jobs are plentiful and pay well but there is more to see and do in the eastern states.
As for advice, well dont let any aussie convince you of the existence of drop-bears.
