I'm using this NeoGeo emulator (ver.1.63, I don't know if there's a new version after this one) but I don't know how to run the games. I made a folder where I put the games (The games are zipped).
When I run the emulator, I go to the folder with games, but I can't select any game.

weird i didn't know that

Okay, il explain it to you before i get something to eat. :p

-First download the latest neogeoMVS from this link here (http://www.dcemu.co.uk/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=47206)
-extract and place the file in your game folder
-disconnect your psp and then run neogeoMVS on your psp.
-you'll notice that your memorystick will be flashing, this is because neogeoMVS is creating folders you will need so that you can place files in the correct places.
-Once thats done exit out of NeogeoMVS and plug your psp back into the computer
-obtain the NeogeoBIOS and leave it in zipped format and place it in the ROM folder that is now there.
-Next using the convertor, I would think you know how to use this. Create a cache of the Rom you have.
-place the rom in the ROM folder
-place the cache file into the cache folder
-disconnect your psp and run neogeoMVS

wtf it says rom not found

you should have the rom in the rom folder, along with the neogeoBIOS in the rom folder in Zip format.

Then the cache of the rom in the cache folder

Is all that inplace?

Yes. When I use the convertor, it says rom not found. I cannot create the cache.

Usually its as simple as dragging and dropping the zipped rom right on top of the romcnv.exe

If its says the rom is not found then the game is either not supported or maybe? its named incorrectly.

rominfo.mvs is the file that contains the rom list for the emu converter.
Open it in wordpad and you will see.

I have to admit I'm having problems with this. I downloaded the last MVS emu (1.63 I think), and followed the (clear and understandable) instructions on the last page - still have problems:

Checking BIOS...
All NVRAM files are removed.
Checking ROM info...
ROM set "samsho".
ERROR: CRC32 not correct. "Europe MVS (Ver. 2)"
Press any button.
Any advice would be great.

Apols for bumping, but I am still having no success with this emulator. Any chance of a PM from someone who has this working? While I am using MAME Neo Geo games, I think that maybe I'm looking at the wrong source for the games.

Thanks in advance.

I'm pretty sure you will get into trouble for posting that link. I would remove it if I was you.

Thanks for that, but it still seems not to be working. The main issue seems to be the BIOS, as it claims the BIOS isn't found. Because I'm stupid when it comes to this: the BIOS is supposed to be in the ROMS folder, right? Because when I start up the emu, it appears on the list in red writing which I'm sure does not bode well.
