Mass Effect 4 looks to be in the pipeline after one of the game developers tweeted that a new title is in the early stages of development.
Bioware executive producer, Casey Hudson wrote (https://twitter.com/CaseyDHudson/status/266612856517181440): “We're in early stages of designing a completely new Mass Effect game. What would you want to see in it?”
This suggests that the developers are looking to develop an entirely new storyline, separate from the previous titles, and judging from his follow up tweets there seems to be a lot of demand playable alien races.
